Situated on the Main (A4066) road between St.Clears & Pendine in Broadway just on the outskirts of Laugharne. 20 minutes drive from Carmarthen Town and a couple of minutes from Ants Hill Caravan Park, Seasons Holiday Homes ,Broadway Caravan Park, Seven Acres Camp Site & Pendine Sands Caravan Park. The Carpenters Arms is situated half a mile from the historic township of Laugharne with its ancient castle overlooking the sea. famed for the works of Dylan Thomas, and the boathouse where he resided, Laugharne has an abundance of culture and history to offer.
Run as a tradional village pub in a rural setting not far from the coast. We pride ourselves in running a clean friendly pub to a high standard, offering a relaxed atmosphere with no juke box or fruit machines.  Athough we have background music playing classic songs. We have a lounge bar with a couple sofas a couple of tub chairs and a real fire for those winter nights. A large car park with it's own walnut tree which bears a large amount of fruit in season & a outdoor patio at rear of pub. The resturant will seat 50 persons where we specialize in prime welsh beef, daily specials & fish dishes. Not to be missed is our Sunday Carvery which is very popular. With six en-suite letting bedrooms we can offer a complete relaxing package for that special occassion, a couple of nights away or just passing through for the night, a warm welcome is given to all.
